Alyse and Andrew’s Saguaro National Park Engagement Session in Tucson, Arizona was the perfect evening! Golden hour was the best time for photos due to the prominent tones in the landscape of the park and the flattering nautral lighting.

I encourage every newly engaged couple to get engagement photos done, and most importantly to choose a location that is unique to you. Some of the easiest ways to choose a location for your engagement session are to think about what kind of scenery you want or if there is a special place you and your partner share together that holds fun memories.

When Alyse reached out to me inquiring about her and Andrew’s engagement photos she mentioned she wanted a location that showcased the desert and overlooked the city ofTucson, Arizona. I had the perfect location in mind and we decided on Saguaro National Park! The charming location fit the exact vibe they were going for featuring miles and miles of cacti, views of the mountains, and overlooked Old Tucson in the distance. We started at Gates Pass in Saguaro National Park and walked down the trails along the mountain. The trails led us to giant red rocks, with different kinds of cacti along the way and took us to a beautiful spot that overlooked Tucson, Arizona in the distance.

Alyse and Andrew met through a mutual friend and it was love at first sight. They love adventuring outdoors and are always up for exploring, trying new food, and going on an adventure. During their session we were goofing off and cracking jokes the entire time. They’re the type of people who bring good vibes and you want to keep around in your life. They had so much fun with the posing prompts I guided them through and couldn’t stop making each other laugh which made for the perfect candid photos.
