Hopping on a plane to Utah to capture Brianna and Jaden’s summer wedding was one of the best decisions I ever made! When Brianna first inquired with me I instantly got nothing but sunshine vibes from her and was so excited to hear all about her dream wedding she and her fiance, Jaden, were planning!

They planned a minimal summer wedding at the White Shanty wedding venue in Provo, Utah. The White Shanty features a modern natural lit warehouse space, their large white barn doors, a bride’s room and groom’s room, newly remodeled bathroom, a grass outdoor area and so much more making it the perfect place for hosting weddings. Brianna and Jaden’s wedding colors were full of earthy greens, brown, white and hints of blue.

Everything about this day was perfect! Brianna and Jaden centered their day around love, family, and God. Right after Brianna and her bridesmaids were finished getting ready, they took a few moments to pray together in the bridal suite. Jaden and Bri then exchanged their gifts for one another before their ceremony while waiting for their first look. Bri had handwritten a personalized note inside of Jaden’s watch box she gifted to him. Jaden gifted Bri a beautiful necklace that she wore for her wedding. Carrie, the bride’s mom, surprised Bri and put a charm on her bouquet from her great-grandmother, making her bouquet unique.

Before their ceremony Brianna requested a first look with her father and Jaden. Her dad was very emotional throughout the day, especially when seeing Bri in her dress for the first time. Meanwhile, Jaden and Bri could not stop laughing and smiling together when they saw each other on their wedding day for the first time.

They wanted their ceremony to be personalized and true to them. During their ceremony they exchanged their vows then performed a rose ceremony with each other’s parents. The sunlight coming through the White Shanty barn doors lit up the entire room as they had their first kiss and danced through the aisle with their friends and family cheering for them! 

Brianna and Jaden will be moving to NYC this fall for Bri to attend a Broadway school and it has always been her dream to perform on Broadway so her mom decorated the tables with vintage sheet music. During their reception, they had a catered waffle bar and personalized charcuterie cups for brunch, played music and danced with their closest family and friends for hours. My favorite detail of the day was when it was time for everyone to send off Bri and Jaden to their honeymoon. They had mini individual bags of lavender to throw and send off to end their special day at the White Shanty. Brianna grew up going to lavender fields and this added such a special and personalized way to end their celebration.
