Hayley & Chris’s summer golf course wedding at the Barn at Raccoon Creek in Colorado was such a seamless & emotion filled day! Getting to be their wedding photographer meant so much to me because of how easily we connected, how we all shared the same love for golden retrievers & traveling, and how kind hearted and genuine they are.

Their wedding was held at one of the most charming Colorado wedding venues, Barn at Raccoon Creek in Colorado. It was the perfect summer wedding to say the least. After we arrived at their venue we started by capturing all of their precious heirlooms for flat lay detail photos. Hayley and Chris each wrote their own vows for one other that they exchanged alone after their ceremony, so getting photos of their custom vow books was a must! Once they were finished getting ready separately we captured their first looks: Chris and his mother followed by Hayley and her father. Hayley gifted her dad a special record that he couldn’t stop smiling about. Her sisters then approached the two of them as they all hugged one another and soaked in all the feels. There wasn’t a dry eye during this time. It was so heartwarming to witness and capture both of those moments for them.

Crazy enough, it began to rain 30 minutes before their ceremony so everyone was praying that the weather would clear up in time, and guess what? It did just that by some miracle! Their ceremony was beautifully backlit with the sun beams peeking through a tall tree behind their arbor. Chris had surprised Hayley by picking her up and spinning her as they walked down their ceremony aisle with their guests cheering and celebrating their new beginning together! We then rode the golf cart out to take some bridal portraits as the sun set over the mountain tops in the distance.

Their reception was also held at the Barn at Raccoon Creek in Colorado under their charming pavilion with a wide open view of the golf course with a mountain view. Following their first dances everyone passed around cowboy party hats and dances the night away amongst the lush golf course lawn with joy in their eyes and the warm feeling of new beginnings in their hearts.

I cannot thank both Hayley and Chris enough for being so amazing and incredibly fun and easy to work with! Getting to capture both their engagement and wedding photos was such an honor. I truly felt like family at the end of the day thanks to their amazing family. Every vendor who was a part of the team made the day so seamless and one for the books!
